General Information
Digipalooza '08 is the international user group conference of OverDrive partner libraries. Scheduled for Thursday, July 24 - Sunday, July 27, 2008 in Cleveland, Ohio, the event is both informative and fun! Digipalooza '08, a celebration of digital media in the library, gives attendees the opportunity to learn, share, and experience innovative services for downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, music, and video with other OverDrive libraries and the OverDrive team.
Who can attend
Staff from OverDrive partner libraries are invited to attend. OverDrive reserves the right to limit the number of attendees from each library / consortium as space requires.
Spouses and guests from out of town are welcome to join us and may register as an attendee.
Cost
The conference fee is $149. Registration, conference sessions, programs, meals, and scheduled events are included with this fee. Hotel stay and travel are not included.
Meals
Meals are included in the conference fee:
Pre-Conference Reception on Thursday with open bar and hors d'oeuvres
Breakfast on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Coffee Breaks all days
Lunch on Friday and Saturday
Dinner / Special Events on Friday and Saturday
The conference hotel is the beautiful and historic Renaissance Hotel in downtown Cleveland. Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to Cleveland and hotel stay at the discounted Digipalooza Conference rate.
Cleveland is the host city to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, museums, and many other attractions. Come, stay and enjoy your visit!
