OverDrive welcomed nearly 275 librarians, publishers and suppliers to Cleveland, Ohio from all across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Digipalooza '08 was OverDrive's 2nd international user conference. Digipalooza '08 attendees began the packed weekend with an opening reception at the Historic Cleveland Renaissance Hotel. Friday, Saturday and Sunday included informational sessions from leading librarians on best practices and experience offering digital media in the library. The weekend also included many opportunities for networking and fun. On Friday evening, attendees chose to attend either the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum or the Cleveland Indians vs. Minnesota Twins baseball game (Go Tribe! The Indians won 5-4). On Saturday, all attendees, friends and family, rocked to a live concert from Donnie Iris and the Cruisers at the House of Blues Cleveland. The conference program portrays the depth of information and education that was demonstrated at the user conference.
